Citizens Bank’s President and CEO for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware
Daniel K. Fitzpatrick, a commercial banking executive for more than 20 years, is Citizens Bank's President and CEO for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Citizens Bank is a division and brand name of RBS Citizens, N.A., and Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania, which are subsidiaries of Citizens Financial Group, Inc.
He also serves on Citizens Financial Group's Executive Leadership Group, the company's senior leadership team. CFG is one of the 10 largest U.S.commercial bank holding companies measured by assets and deposits. It is headquartered in Providence, R.I.
Fitzpatrick, a native of Philadelphia, formerly was President, Bank of America, Pennsylvania and B of A's Market Executive for Commercial Banking for Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware. Before joining Bank of America in 2003, he held senior leadership positions with PNC Bank, PNC Capital Markets and CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia.
He is active in the community, serving on the board and executive committee of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce as well as the chamber's CEO Council for Growth. Fitzpatrick is chairman of the Committee of Seventy, an independent group of business leaders that advocates for honest, efficient government for the greater Philadelphia region. He is also chairman of the CEO Ambassadors for 21st Century Skills, a business advocacy organization focused on strengthening public education and providing students with job preparedness skills. He serves on the board of directors of the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition. He is a member of the executive committees of the Greater Philadelphia Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He is a member of the boards of trustees of La Salle University, the University of the Sciences, and the University of the Arts, the board of directors of the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation and the Franklin Institute.
Fitzpatrick holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from La Salle University and an M.B.A. from Drexel University, and is a CPA and Chartered Financial Analyst and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
Fitzpatrick lives in Newtown, Bucks County, Pa., with his wife Beth and their four children.
